- Protecto Form Flash 2 EPDM is a cold applied self-adhering membrane composed of uncured EPDM with an exterior protective film on one side and a layer of butyl adhesive with a release liner on the other side. Protecto Form Flash 2 EPDM is used to seal around cable, electrical, gas line, hose bibs, dryer vents, air exchange vents and pipe penetrations in the exterior sheathing, roofing applications, CMU and poured in place concrete. Eliminates the need for lead flashings, can be used at all roof to wall transitions, around chimneys and solar panels.
- Form Flash 2 is a peel & stick, flexible EPDM roof penetration flashing tape that stretches, conforms and seals around penetrations in roofs and walls
- Seals penetrations in roof assemblies
- Compatible with and adheres to TPO, PVC and EPDM
- Has an aggressive butyl based adhesive that adheres to plywood, OSB, PVC, steel, aluminum and plastic
- The UV resistant uncured EPDM facer conforms in all directions allowing it to stretch around penetrations while the butyl adhesive remains flexible in extreme hot and cold temperatures
- Seals out water and stops heating and air conditioning loss around penetrations
- Compatible with most building products and EPDM
- Perfect for sealing around: electrical power mast, pipe penetrations, roof ventilation, plumbing soil penetrations, sky lights, roof to chimneys, roof to wall, patching valleys, gutters and shingles, CMU and poured in place concrete
